Anthony Cunningham Resigns as Galway Hurling Manager
- Details

"A kangaroo court, led by a core of players, and orchestrated with help from outside Galway" – these were the words of Anthony Cunningham who resigned last night as Galway hurling manager.
He stepped down, avoiding a vote by the County Board that was to decide his fate.
Cunningham had been the subject of a motion of no confidence from the senior panel, despite leading them to the All Ireland final in September.
