Sean Conroy of Ballyhaunis Boxing Club captured the National Intermediate Title at 81kg last night when he overcame Eamon Walsh of St Anne’s in the final at the National Stadium on a 3-0 scoreline.

Meanwhile Ciara Sheedy of Aghlish Boxing Club took the 69kg B title overcoming Saoirse Dignam of the Sacre Coeur, while her club colleague Nuala Connolly had a walkover in the 75kg B final to take the title also.
