Stephen Rochford confirmed last night that he has accepted a nomination for the position of Mayo Senior Football manager.

Rochford was speaking at the Westport GAA Club Health and Wellbeing Seminar in the Castlecourt Hotel.

The Mayo News reports that he confirmed that he had just yesterday accepted a nomination and will allow his name go forward.

The closing date for nominations is this Sunday – November 1^st.
