Mayo kickboxer through to semi-finals of European Cadet and Junior Championship

Davitt Neary has made it through to the semi-finals of the World Cadet & Junior Kickboxing Championship in San Sebastian, Spain when he defeated his Hungarian opponent this morning. Davitt is the first of the Mayo members of the National Kickboxing Team to make it through to the medals stages. Gearoid Cramp has now also made it through to the quarter finals of the competition.
Emma Flannery went out in the elimination rounds yesterday, but the remaining Mayo members of the team Rory Dravins and Niall Carter will be in action later today.
