The son of Rajsaman made light of the step up to 2 miles as he was given a very patient ride by Denis Linehan, made up his ground stylishly to challenge inside the final furlong and quickened up nicely to beat Zaofu by two-and-a-quarter lengths.

Fergal currently has seven horses in training at their base in Killala.
