Day of hurling to take place in MacHale Park on July 5th

To celebrate Centra’s fifth year as sponsor of the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship, Centra are bringing together the brightest stars of hurling this summer for fun community events in GAA clubs throughout the country.
On Saturday 5th July, one of 16 community events will be travelling to Elverys MacHale Park with Galway hurling legend, Damien Hayes, and Clare captain Patrick Donnellan, on hand to give bright young stars from local Mayo clubs the chance to develop their game and learn from the best!
There will be plenty of fun to be had on the day as Centra aims to bring the whole community together through a special hurling skills session and a host of family entertainment including face painting, a hurling simulator to test your hurling skills, music and goodie bags.
To sign up for the event, register instore in a participating Centra store. Closing date for entries is Friday 27th June. The event commences at 10am on Saturday 5th July in MacHale Park. The hurling skills session is open to boys and girls of all standards from ages five to twelve.
