Following on from the success of the introduction of the Connacht Gold Shield which provided two additional teams with the opportunity of experiencing the atmosphere of Cup Final Day in Milebush Park the League has decided to further revamp our main cup competition for 2015.

This will see the Shield replaced and introduced with (1)—Connacht Gold Super Cup, (2)—Connacht Gold Premier Cup and (3)—Connacht Gold Challenge Cup

This will ensure that we have a straight knockout competition for all clubs in the League while providing a realistic chance for sides from the lower divisions to sample the Milebush playing surface on cup final day and to have the opportunity to win a prestigious trophy by playing against teams of similar stature.

 Connacht Gold Super Cup 2015:

• 16 teams comprising of the present 10 in the Super League and the top 6 in Premier ‘A’ at the end of this season----knock-out competition.

Connacht Gold Premier Cup 2015:

• 16 teams comprising of the bottom 4 in Premier ‘A’, the 10 in Premier ‘B’ and the top 2 in League One at the end of this season----knock-out competition
