Deaw made for first round of All-Ireland Senior Football Qualifiers

The draw for the first round of this year's GAA All-Ireland senior football qualifiers has been made.

A new qualifying system this year sees the draw split into two rounds, with four games each in Round 1A and Round 1B.

In Round 1A, Laois, who lost to Dublin in yesterday's Leinster Quarter Final, will face Fermanagh.

Elsewhere, Derry will face Longford, Limerick take on London and Wicklow face Offaly in an All-Leinster duel.

Those games will take place on the 21st June.

Round 1B's ties will be played the week after.

The losers of Monaghan against Tyrone in the Ulster Quarter-Final next Sunday will take on Louth, who fell to Kildare yesterday in the Leinster Quarter Final.

Cavan, who lost to Armagh yesterday at the Athletic Grounds, will face Westmeath.

The losers of next Saturday's Munster Quarter Final replay between Clare and Waterford will take on the losers of next Sunday's Leinster Quarter Final clash between Carlow and Meath.

And Down will battle it out with Leitrim.

The venues, dates and times of the games will be confirmed by the Central Competitions Control Committee in due course.
