Leinster have closed the gap on leaders the Scarlets to two-points with a 21-18 victory over Connacht at the R-D-S.

The visitors had led 13-11 at the break thanks to a Finlay Bealham try but Leinster nosed in front thanks to a Luke McGrath try and Johnny Sexton penalty.

Connacht, who were hoping for a first win in 16 games in Dublin, were frustrated in their efforts to siege the Leinster line in the closing stages.
