Connacht Council Secretary John Prenty confirmed to Midwest Radio today that there is an issue with the number of season ticket holders versus the number of seats in the stand at Dr Hyde Park ahead of the Roscommon v Mayo Connacht Championship game on Sunday June 8^th.

Mr Prenty confirmed on this morning’s Tommy Marren Show that there are 3,000 seats in the stand and between season ticket holders and players from the counties there are 5,200 people who are entitled to seats in that area.

Mr Prenty said Connacht Council will confirm details over the weekend but it is looking likely that it will not be putting stand tickets on general sale for the game.
