Knockmore showjumper wins opening International class at 3 star Nations Cup in Denmark

Michael Duffy from Knockmore Co Mayo today (Thursday), won the opening International class at the 3 star Nations Cup Show at Odense in Denmark.
Duffy, who is just seventeen years old, was riding the nine year old grey mare ‘Eminent’and finished with over a second to spare over runner up Sebastian Numminen from Finland.
Duffy is part of the Irish squad who have been selected for the Furusiyya Nations Cup at Odense on Sunday, while just over a week ago Michael Duffy riding Murchu, finished fourth in their first 1.60m Grand Prix at Maubeuge in France
