Westport Community Games enjoyed considerable success last night at the HSE Mayo Community Games U-14 table quiz competition in the Welcome Inn Hotel Castlebar. The Westport (B) team of Diarmaid Lally, Shauna Kerrigan, Lauren Bourke and Seoirse Swanton were the outright winners on 87 points. There was was a tie for second place with Breaffy and the Westport (A) team finishing on 86 points each. Kilmurray took the bronze medals on a score of 81 points. 

It proved to be one of the tightest fought quiz competitions for years with 21 teams entered on the night.
