Members of the GMIT Castlebar Archery Club just missed out on a Guinness World Record at the campus last night.
They were aiming to beat the current record of 27 hours of a continuous archery shoot and made it to 21 hours and 8 minutes through their shooter Adria Quinn, who was the last remaining shooter from the three who started.
A spokesperson for the college says they are ready to give it another try in the future.
