Castlebar Celtic’s Emma Hansberry was among the Ireland Under-19 team that were denied a place in the finals of the European U-19 Women’s Championships, after being defeated by defending champions Sweden in the Hague yesterday.

Sweden scored two late goals to deny Ireland a place in the finals in Wales in August.
