There has been success for Mayo boxers in the National Youth Championships today in Dublin.

Jamie Conroy of Ballina Boxing Club has taken the Youth 1 48KG title. This is Jamie’s 6^th National Title in a row.

Kieran Lally of Ardnaree has won the Youth 1 46KG title. Matthew Davis of the Ardagh/Crossmolina club has taken the Boy 4 57KG title on a 12-9 scoreline and his clubmate Dean  Loftus won the 42KG Youth 1 title.

There has been a hat  trick for the St Anne’s Club in Westport. Francis McDonagh won the Boy 4 70KG, Francis Carr the Boy 4 86KG and James Brennan the Youth 1 44KG.

There were two titles for the Ballyhaunis club this afternoon – Sean Conroy in the Youth 1 75KG and Patrick Sweeney in the Youth 1 91KG.
