Looking ahead to next weekend’s fixtures in the Allianz Football League,
Mayo host Kildare at Elvery’s McHale Park in Castlebar on Saturday evening next, with throw-in at 7pm.
That will be preceeded at 5.15 on Saturday evening by the meeting of Mayo and Armagh in Division 2 B of the National Hurling League.
Elsewhere, Roscommon footballers travel to Casement Park on Saturday to play Antrim with a 2.30 throw-in,
Leitrim host Waterford in Carrick-on-Shannon at 2pm,
Sligo travel to Navan to take on Meath at 5pm
And Galway are away to Laois at 7pm.
The All-Ireland Senior Club championship finals take place on Sunday next – St Patrick’s Day, with Galway side St Thomas taking on Kilcormac-Killoughey of Offaly in Croke Park at 2pm in the hurling final.
In the football final at 3.45, Roscommon club champions St Brigid’s meet Ballymun Kickhams of Dublin.
