Castlebar Celtic player lines out for Rep of Ireland U18 side

Everyone at Castlebar Celtic has congratulated Liam Flatley on receiving his Irish Cap when playing for the Irish U18 side against Wales on Tuesday night. Liam played the entire second half in the 2-0 defeat which was played in Bangor, Wales.
Head Coach Paul Doolin said: "It was a very good game and some of the football we played was excellent considering the players had only been together for a few days. ”I'm sure the players will have gained a lot from this experience and quite a few of them produced very good performances. The goals were just unfortunate. "A lot of credit should go to Jim Crawford for the coaching he has done with them this week."
The Celtic U18 manager Mark Togher was delighted for Liam and stated that it was a fitting reward for all his hard work and dedication this season. Liam was part of the club's successful U17 Mayo double winning side under the guidance of Ashleigh Stevenson and is currently involved with the U18 side who have qualified for the FAI Youth Cup Quarter-Finals and have already captured the Quigley Cup.
