New triple jump record for Aughagower athlete

Caoimhe King of Aughagower Athletic Club broke her own indoor triple jump record at the National Championships, held at the new state of the art indoor facility in Athlone yesterday.

Caoimhe jumped 12.39 metres, bettering her old record by some 10 centimetres.
