At a recent meeting of Sligo County Board Pádraig Clancy of the St.Michael’s Club was elected unopposed to the position of Coaching and Games Officer.

At the same gathering Joe Queenan, Enniscrone, Kilglass successfully contested the position of Treasurer in a contest with Michael Leonard, Curry. The Curry Clubman will continue in his role as Assistant Treasurer.

Yet another position must now be filled as the newly elected Treasurer has resigned as Connacht Council Representative and Clubs have been asked to nominate suitably qualified candidates to fill this role. The new Connacht Council Rep. who will join Pádraig Duffy, of Eastern Harps on the Provincial body will be chosen at the March meeting.
