Paul Earley named new Irish International Rules manager

Former Roscommon footballer Paul Earley has been confirmed as the new Irish International Rules manager.

The Michael Glavey’s clubman, who played for Roscommon between 1981 and 1993, succeeds Anthony Tokill who led Ireland to success down under in 2011.

Paul Earley, is a current member of the GAA’s Football Review Committee.

An experienced Level 2 coach, he’s also a highly-regarded football analyst with Setanta.

GAA President Liam O’Neill said the Association was delighted with Paul’s appointment as Irish International Rules manager, and wished him every success in his new role.

The first series test against Australia on October 19th will take place at an Ulster venue, yet to be confirmed, while the second is scheduled for Croke Park the following week.
