The Mayo County Secretary Kevin O’Toole has stepped down from his position.
He says that, due to family circumstances and work commitments, he will be unable to commit to the time that the position of Secretary of the Mayo County Board requires.
In a letter to the County Board, Mr O’Toole said it has always been a privilege to be involved in Mayo GAA, and an honour to have been able to serve as Secretary.
In a statement to Midwest Sport, the Mayo County Board has thanked Kevin O’Toole for his service and his work with Mayo GAA, and says he has put in a tremendous amount of work and commitment which was invaluable to the clubs and management committee of the county.
The Board has wishes Kevin and his family all the best, and hope to see him back in some capacity again in the future.
The Board has now begun the process of replacing Mr O’Toole as County Secretary.
