Death takes place of Dr John McAndrew

The death has taken place of Dr John McAndrew, a member of the Mayo All-Ireland Winning side of 1950 and 51. Dr McAndrew also won a National League medal in 1954. 

John was a native of Kiltane, Bangor. 

He was one of the longest surviving Mayo Gaelic footballers to hold All-Ireland Senior Football Championship winners' medals.
