Knockmore G.A.A club are hosting an anniversary dinner dance honouring the 1972/1973 County Intermediate senior and connacht champions in Hotel Ballina on Saturday the 5th of
January 2013, commencing at 8pm sharp.
Special guest on the night is Kevin Walsh, current Sligo senior football manger
Also in attendance will be members of the Garrymore/Ardnaree teams who were defeated by Knockmore in the 72/73 finals.
The club will launch a commemorative booklet on the night, which will chronicle in words & pictures the great footballing exploits of 1972 / 1973.
Music on the night is by Wavelength and tickets are priced at €30 .
A limited supply of tickets are available from any club member.
Mass for Arch Deacon Sean Durkan and the deceased members of Knockmore G.A.A Club will be held in Knockmore Church on Wednesday the 2nd of January at 7pm.
