The opening takes place tomorrow, New Year's Day, of the new 400 metre Athletic Track in Claremorris.

The new track will be open to the general public from 11am to 4pm.

Everyone is invited to attend and try out the new Mondo surface.

The surface of the new track is the same type as was used in the London Olympics 2012.

Refreshments will be served.
