Mayo were in front by 7 points at one stage in this game but Meath pushed hard in the second half and Mayo couldn't find their scoring range early on in the second half. There were just 3 points in it when Meath were awarded a penalty and no one could see why and that levelled proceedings. Meath got a second goal that it was game over, try as hard as Mayo could.
