“It’s a brilliant day for all the staff. We’ve always been in the top 3 stations in the country but to actually get pole position is really satisfying for all of us involved. We know that our service connects with people in a unique way and despite all the competition our distinct brand of broadcasting still resonates with tens of thousands of listeners in Mayo, Roscommon, Galway and Sligo. 2014 has been a year of celebration for us. Our 25th anniversary saw us mark 25 years of broadcasting in a number of ways but today’s announcement is the icing on the cake”.
