Two men appear in court charged in connection with attempted post office robbery in Creggs

Two men in their 30s appeared before a special sitting of Loughrea District Court this morning, charged in relation to an attempted robbery at shop/post office in Creggs, Galway on last.
A third man remains in custody in relation to this incident.
At around 12.45pm on Monday last two masked men entered the post office in Creggs, armed with what’s believed to have been a shotgun, threatened staff and attempted to rob the premises.
They didn’t manage to steal anything and fled the scene in a black SUV, which has since been recovered.
