Midwest Radio maintains its dominance as the radio station of choice for listeners in this region – according to the latest JNLR figures published today.

JNLR is an independent national survey that looks at how stations across the country are faring with listeners.

Midwest’s Market share is on the rise again reaching 52 percent.

That compares to RTE one’s 14.6 percent, 2fm’s – 5.2 %, Today fm’s -10% and Newstalk  - 2.6 %.

Midwest retains its place in the league table of commercial raDio station’s in second place nationally, closing in on Donegal’s Highland at the top.

Midwest listened to yesterday figure comes in at 59 percent.
