3 men arrested following armed raid in Creggs

Three men have been arrested following a Post Office raid in Creggs, Co Galway.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon last before 1pm, when two men entered O’Rourke’s shop and post office in the village of Creggs, on the Galway-Roscommon border.
One of the men was carrying a firearm, but it’s not believed it was discharged.
No cash or items were taken, and there were no injuries.
Gardai have confirmed to Midwest News that three men in their 30’s were arrested yesterday in relation with the raid.
Two of the men are being held at Ballinasloe Garda Station and one at Galway Garda Station, under Section 50 of the Offences against the State Act.
