As the Heart of Castlebar / Croi Caislean a Bharraigh Festival gets underway this morning (Saturday, July 21), motorists are reminded of road closures in the county town.

Main Street and Castle Street are closed to traffic until to 6 o’clock this evening, with diversions in place.

Linenhall Street, Tucker Street and New Antrim Street will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. to 12.30 a.m.

Midwest Radio will be broadcasting throughout the day from Ellison Street.

The second Croi Caislean a Bharraigh festival is set to have a huge range of activities for children and families, shopping promotions and evening entertainment.
