Trawler in difficulty off Erris coast being towed back to Killybegs

A Donegal fishing trawler, which got into difficulty of the Mayo coast last evening, is being towed back to Killybegs.
The Katherine-R, with 6 crew on board, was drifting about 20 miles northwest off Erris Head after losing power, when the Ballyglass Lifeboat crew came to their assistance.
The lifeboat towed the trawler part of the way back to Killybegs, while it was met en route by a tug from the Donegal port, which took over and towed the vessel and its crew back to safety.
