- Details
The HSE has confirmed at 3.7% cut in the Jack and Jill Foundation’s State funding from the HSE.
The Jack and Jill Foundation provides home nursing care to young children in Ireland who have developmental delay as a result of brain damage.
The 3.7% cut in funding equates to a deduction of €20,000 in state funding for the organisation.
The Foundation has supported 57 families in Mayo since 1997.
Jack and Jill is also starting a Happy Faces fundraising campaign with the Irish Professional Photographers Association today which will run until April 9th.
Two Mayo photographers are taking part in the campaign – Michael McLoughlin and Alan Hastings – both in Westport. People can have a professional portrait done for €25 with those photographers with 100% of the proceeds going to Jack and Jill.
