€120,000 in funding formally approved for Straide & Foxford Utd

€120,000 in funding has been formally approved for Straide & Foxford Utd.
The funding was first granted in 2004 under the Sports Capital Programme but legal issue remained surrounding the title.
Those have now been resolved and Minister for State at the Department of Tourism and Sport Michael Ring has confirmed that the money has been formally approved for their pitch development and floodlighting work.
Minister Ring has been telling me that this was previously allocated money and is not from the €30m Fund announced this week.
