New cycle stands installed in Castlebar

The installation of bicycle parking stands in Castlebar is being welcomed by local Sinn Fein councillor Therese Ruane, Chairperson of Smart Travel Castlebar, who says this is another step in the right direction towards making Castlebar a cycle-friendly town.
The cycle stands are now in place at Ellison Street and Castle Street, and Councillor Ruane says she looks forward to stands at the third location, as promised, at the junction with Linenhall Street and Bridge Street, being in place shortly.
