Minister Ring Announces the Re-opening of the Sports Capital Programme

Minister for Sport Michael Ring has today re-opened the Sports Capital Programme, closed since 2008.
The programme provides funding for sports clubs.
30 million euro in funding has been made available for successful applicants.
Applications can be made on-line until Friday the 1st of June, while hard copy applications or applications through the post must be in by 5pm on Friday the 11th May.
A number of changes to the programme have been introduced.
