Mass of Remembrance in Knock tomorrow for victims of road traffic accidents

Tomorrow marks World Day of Remembrance for victims of road traffic accidents, and a Mass of Remembrance will be held at Knock Shrine at 12 noon.

Over 24-thousand people have been killed on Ireland’s roads since records began, with almost 80,000 people seriously injured.

So far this year, over 133 families have lost a loved one in a road accident.

Families and friends of those who lost their lives on the roads, and members of the emergency services, who attend the scene of road collisions, will attend tomorrow’s Mass in the Basilica.
