Two Dublin men undertake charity run across Ireland to highlight the plight of homeless people

Two Dublin men are currently undertaking a charity run across Ireland, to raise funds for the homeless and for the Simon Community.

Dublin Bus worker Noel Ward and his friend Mark Conlon are running 50 kilometres per day for 22 continuous days to highlight the plight of homeless people- not just in Dublin, but across the country.

They were greeted in Galway yesterday by the Lord Mayor, and today are running from Mullingar to Longford on Day 12 of the challenge.

People can make donations online to support their ultra charity run.
