Fine Gael is proposing a Commission on the status of women in Ireland and job seekers allowance payments based on social insurance contributions.
The measures are contained in the party's 'Republic of Opportunities' document which it is describing as a rolling manifesto.
All of today's sessions are the chapter heads of Leo Varadkar's republic of opportunity document.
The Taoiseach says this is a living document and the policies are up for discussion and rejection.
Some ideas include a commission on the status of women to identify where equality and gender pay laws have failed.
On welfare there is a proposal that someone who has paid social insurance all their working life would get a higher job seekers allowance if they find themselves unemployed.
The ideas will be thrashed out in a Q&A session with Ministers later.
