Togher Tyres of Castlebar were again among the award winners at the prestigious Irish Auto Trade Awards 2018, which took place at Carton House last week.

The awards programme is a celebration of excellence in the Irish auto trade in Ireland. 

Joe and Eileen Togher collected the Tyre Retailer of the Year. Winners from across the country were honoured in 26 categories. 

This was the second time Togher Tyres secured the national title, having previously won the award in 2015. 

Molloy Commercials of Castlebar and Swinford Motors were regional winners in the 2018 LCV/HCV Independent Workshop of the Year and Trade Parts Main Dealer of the Year award categories.

Retail auto businesses undergo a rigorous selection process that includes phone and personal mystery shops before being finally adjudicated on. Manufacturer and distributor companies were shortlisted based on votes received by readers of the Irish Auto Trade Journal over recent months.
