Two Mayo hotels among winners of 2017 Gold Medal Awards last night

Two Mayo hotels were among the winners of the 2017 Gold Medal Awards, announced last night in Kilkenny.
The awards are presented in association with Hotel & Catering Review magazine.
The awards saw Kelly’s Resort Hotel in Co. Wexford named Gold Medal Supreme Winner, the highest accolade of the evening.
It was also named 'Ireland’s Family Friendly Hotel'.
In Mayo, Ashford Castle in Cong won the Gold Award for Ireland’s Best 5-star hotel, and was also named Ireland’s Best Guest Experience.
Earlier this year, Ashford Castle was named the AA Ireland Hotel of the Year.
The Wyatt Hotel in Westport won the award for Ireland’s best hotel website.
