People in some parts of the west are waiting between 2 and 4 hours for an ambulance.
That's according to the Ambulance Crisis Group which is holding a meeting with the National Ambulance Service today.
The group's campaigning for a better service for Connemara, which only has two ambulance stations - one in Clifden and one in Carraroe.
It claims these are called in to service the city and other areas on a regular basis, which leaves Connemara exposed and leads to long delays.
