More than three quarters of Irish voters want Michael D Higgins to serve a second term as President according to a poll in today's Irish Daily Mail.
The poll also shows a boost for Fine Gael – with support for the party now standing at 32 percent.
Fianna Fáil is up 3 points to 29% - while Sinn Féin is down 2 to 14 percent.
