Mayo County Council has agreed to take immediate action to secure a vacant housing development at Bowgate Street, Ballinrobe, amid concerns of ongoing anti-social behaviour.
Fire services attended the scene of a blaze at the estate last Monday night, and brought the fire under control.
Ballinrobe-based Fianna Fail Councillor Damien Ryan raised the matter again at this week’s meeting of the Claremorris Municipal District.
