Ryanair scrapping its free two bag carry-on policy from 1st November
- Details

Ryanair is scrapping its two bag carry-on policy this winter.
The airline says that, from November, passengers who haven't paid for priority boarding will have to place their second larger piece of luggage in the hold.
However this will be free of charge.
The airline is also reducing its checked bag fees, along with increased check-in bag sizes - Ryanair says it's to reduce the number of customers turning up at the boarding gates with two bags.
From November 1, only "Priority Boarding" customers will be allowed to bring two carry-on bags on to the plane.
All other passengers will only be allowed to bring one smaller carry-on bag on board, while their second (bigger) wheelie bag must be placed in the hold - free of charge - at the boarding gate.
Ryanair says its check-in bag allowance will increase from 15kg to 20kg, while the fee for checking in a bag will be reduced to €25 a bag.
