Gardai seek witnesses after pedestrian was injured in The Neale

Gardai are appealing for information following an incident in The Neale on Saturday evening in which a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car.
The collision occurred after Saturday evening Mass, in the parking area outside the Church in The Neale, adjacent to the main road.
Gardai say a woman was struck by a car and knocked to the ground.
She was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries.
Anyone who was in the area around The Neale church between 8.45 and 9pm on Saturday evening and witnessed the collision is asked to contact Claremorris Garda Station at 094 – 93 72080.
