Gardaí investigating the death of 21 year old Joe Deacy are waiting on the results from phone records before further progress can be made in the murder case.

A Senior Garda source confirmed to Midwest News today the results of the phone analysis should be back at some stage next week and this will then move the process forward.

Gardai are still appealing for anyone who has information that may be of assistance in their investigation to come forward.

The funeral of Joe Deacy will take place in St Albans on Thursday morning at 10am.
