Man airlifted to hospital following farm accident in West Roscommon

A man was airlifted to hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a farm accident in Loughglynn west Roscommon on Sunday afternoon.
At about 3.30pm, gardaí say he was reportedly dragged by a bull at Corracoggil, Loughglynn, near Castlerea causing injury to the man.
The man, understood to be in his thirties, was airlifted to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries.
Gardaí say the matter is under investigation, with the Health and Safety Authority involved.
