Conference hosted by Society of St Vincent de Paul West Region in Knock Shrine this month

Homeless campaigner Fr Peter McVerry, disability advocate Joanne O’Riordan and former Governor of Mountjoy Prison John Lonergan are among the speakers at a conference in Knock Shrine later this month (Sept).
The conference is being hosted by the Society of St Vincent de Paul West Region, and will give young people in the region a chance to hear more about the work of the society, as well as using their voices and power to tackle social justice issues.
Transition Year students from schools in Mayo and Roscommon have been invited to the conference, which takes place on Thursday 14th September.
