Pilgrims walking to Knock for 15th August Masses

The second day of the annual Knock Novena takes place today, and 15th August – the Feast of the Assumption - is traditionally one of the busiest days of the year at Knock Shrine.
Large numbers of people of all ages walked to Knock throughout the night, to arrive at the Parish Church for early Mass at 6am this morning.
The guest speaker at today’s Novena Masses at 3pm and 8.30 is Fr Seamus Enright, Rector of Mount St. Alphonsus in Limerick, while Fr Michael Cusack from St Joseph’s Monastery in Dundalk will address the workshops at 12 noon and 6pm.
