Man dies following single vehicle collision outside Charlestown

One man has died following a single vehicle road collision outside Charlestown today. The collision occurred after 3pm on the old Charlestown to Ballaghaderren Road close to Carracastle. The man who died was in his mid-twenties. He died after the car he was driving left the road and hit a tree. The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
